Sept. 9 - 12: Toronto, Canada ~ Visiting my old friend Dan as well as reconnecting with a newer Colombian friend, Christian
Sept. 13-16: London, England ~ Visiting my friend Christine
Sept. 16 - 24: Spain ~ Meeting up with Sarah and traveling around the northern part of the country visiting different Spanish friends of mine there
Sept. 24 - 27: Belgium ~ Separating from Sarah and visiting the Lucas family, former students of mine, and also checking out Brussels and Bruge
Sept. 27 - 29: Amsterdam, Netherlands ~ Spending a few days here on my own, just to check it out since I'm so close (why not, eh?)
Sept. 30 - Flying back to Spain to meet back up w/ Sarah
Oct. 1 - 7: Istanbul, Turkey ~ Since neither of us has been here before, we'll be exploring it all for the first time
Oct. 7 - 12: Amman, Jordan ~ Visiting Petra, the Dead Sea and a bunch of other amazing stuff.
Oct. 12 - 17: Dubai, United Arab Emirates ~ Sarah and I will part ways again; she'll go to Qatar to visit friends and I'll be meeting up with a friend of mine in Dubai
Oct. 18 - 20: Hong Kong ~ Long story, but I have a layover of sorts here on my way to India (look at a map... totally bizarre!). But, hey, as long as I have to stop there, I'm totally going to check it out!
Oct. 21- 30: India ~ Sarah and I will meet back up again here and travel around the northern part of the country (Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, etc). India has been on my "Top 3" list for years so I'm so excited to finally get to see it!
Oct. 30 - Nov. 23: Thailand ~ Another one from my "Top 3".... we'll spend time in Bangkok, Chiang Mai and, hopefully, get a day at the beach
Nov. 24 - Dec. 3: Sri Lanka ~ Here we'll be visiting one of my old high school pals, Dineli
Dec. 4 - 5: Singapore ~ We had to make a stop here on our way to Australia so we're going to make the best of it and check it out as long as we're there
Dec. 6 - 10: Melbourne, Australia ~ And finally making it to the last on my "Top 3" list.... Australia!
Dec. 10 - 24: New Zealand ~ We've both heard such amazing things about this place, we figured we needed a lot of time here
Dec. 24- January 1: Sydney, Australia ~ Back to Australia where I will spend my last week. We will be staying with a close friend of Sarah's while here.
January 1: I will head home while Sarah will stay behind to spend another few weeks with her friend. I'll be taking a direct flight from Sydney to New York City.... the longest flight in the world! If I survive it, even I will be impressed. As if it's not bad enough, I'll be doing it alone. Ugh. Pity whoever is picking me up on the other end.
